PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASING
This tool is designed to refresh existing curls between wash days — not to create curl definition on straight or stretched hair. Results vary by hair type, length, porosity, and technique.

IS THIS THE RIGHT TOOL FOR YOUR HAIR?
Best fit:
- 2C–4C curly hair
- Medium to coarse texture
- High porosity hair
- Day 2–6 hair that already has curl definition
May work with extra technique:
- 2A–2B loose waves
- Low porosity hair (results will vary — frizz more likely)
- Chin-length or longer hair
Not recommended:
- Straight hair
- Very fine hair
- Very short hair (under 3 inches)
- Freshly washed or soaking wet hair
Note for low porosity or fine hair: Steam can cause frizz on hair that does not absorb moisture easily. If you are unsure of your porosity, try refreshing with a spray bottle and diffuser first — if that works for you, this tool likely will too.

FIRST USE AND NORMAL OPERATION
A motor and steam sound during use is completely normal — this is how the pump operates and is not a defect.
Not seeing steam on your first use? This is common. Before assuming the unit is defective, please try the following:
1. Ensure the water tank is filled to the fill line and seated fully in place.
2. Allow the full 30 seconds to heat up before pressing the steam button.
3. Hold the unit upright and press the steam button for 5 to 10 seconds.
4. Some units need 1 to 2 full tank cycles to fully prime the pump — this is normal break-in behavior.
If the unit still produces no steam after following these steps, please contact support for a replacement before submitting a return.

HOW TO USE
Fill the tank with clean water. Heat for 30 seconds. Work in small sections. Hold the diffuser 3 to 4 inches from your hair. Steam each section for 5 to 8 seconds. Scrunch upward. Pair with your favorite curl product. Repeat.
Pro tip: Most users get their best results on the second or third use once they find the right distance, section size, and product combination for their specific hair.
Safety note: Keep the diffuser at least 3 to 4 inches from your scalp at all times. The steam is hot. Do not press directly against skin. Not recommended for very short hair where maintaining a safe distance is difficult.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: I saw this on TikTok and my results look nothing like the video. Why?
A: TikTok videos typically feature 3A–4C medium-to-coarse hair with high porosity. If your hair is fine, low porosity, very short, or on the wavier end, your results will likely differ. Please check the hair type guide above before purchasing.
Q: I pressed the steam button and heard a clicking noise but no steam came out. Is it broken?
A: Not necessarily. A clicking sound is the pump priming and is normal. Make sure the tank is filled and seated, wait the full 30 seconds to heat, then press and hold the steam button for 5 to 10 seconds. Some units need 1 to 2 full cycles to prime. If it still produces no steam after this, contact support for a replacement before submitting a return.
Q: Will it make my hair frizzy?
A: It can — especially on fine, low-porosity, or short hair types. For best results, apply a curl refresher or leave-in conditioner to each section before steaming to lock in definition and reduce frizz.
Q: What is this tool for?
A: Refreshing Day 2–6 curls between wash days — adding bounce, moisture, and shape to curls that already exist. It is not designed to create curls on straight or fully stretched hair.
Q: Is this a replacement for wash day?
A: No. It extends the life of your wash-day style. It does not replace washing your hair.
Q: Will it work the first time?
A: Not always. Most users find their best results on the second or third use. Give it a few tries with different section sizes, distances, and product combinations before deciding.
Q: Is the steam too hot?
A: Keep the unit 3 to 4 inches from your hair and scalp at all times. Do not press directly against skin. Not recommended for very short hair (under 3 inches) where maintaining a safe distance is difficult.
Q: Do I need to use products with it?
A: We strongly recommend it. A curl refresher spray, leave-in conditioner, or light styling cream applied before steaming will significantly improve definition and reduce frizz.
Q: Is there a learning curve?
A: Yes — a small one. Most users feel much more comfortable after 2 to 3 uses once they dial in the right technique for their hair type.
